A recent survey by BMO released statistics that shows British Columbia residents have one the highest levels of debt in the country.
The average household is carrying $99,834.00 which is a very substantial increase over 2013 household debt of $79,089.00.
52% of the households reported having credit card debt, 39% reported having mortgage debt and 9% of the survey participants reported having student loan liability.
